OUR STORY
We were at a Dave Mathews Band concert at The Gorge in Washington State during Labor Day weekend (photo above) a while back.
These were amazing tickets. Right up front in an area called The Pit which is standing room only. We got there early to get close to the stage.
But we had a problem.....
We were exhausted. And if we left to get a drink or go to the bathroom, we’d risk losing our spots.
Risk losing our spots in The Pit? Not worth it. So we stayed and pushed through.
How could we avoid this problem again? We needed an energy boost that wouldn’t send us to the bathroom (no drinks). Something that would fit in our pockets, taste great, and wouldn’t leave us awake all night.
The next day we started Viter Energy!
OUR MISSION
Our founders, Bryan and Jacob, created Viter Energy because they wanted fast energy at a concert that wasn’t a drink.
In formulating and testing our first product, original wintergreen mints, we learned that many other people wanted a fast on-the-go energy boost too.

Fantastic alternative!
I have now been using these mints for nearly 5 years for my caffeine. I initially was looking for an alternative for expensive energy drinks and to minimize my sugar intake. A smooth buzz. I have one in the morning instead of coffee. The cinnamon gum tastes great too.
Try sample pack first.
My advice to first time buyers would be to try the sample pack first. I have a sensitive mouth and stomach and can’t handle the Peppermint, Cinnamon, & Chocolate flavors because of their potent mint uppercut and strong flavor. However, the Wintergreen & Spearmint flavors work well for me as they are more gentle to my mouth than the others. Taste and caffeine kick is good too.

I used to get Bawls mints but they are increasingly hard to find. I have been using these mints for awhile now and they seem to work well for me when I hit an afternoon rut. I also occasionally take one in the morning if I need a boost in between waking and exercising. I prefer the wintergreen flavor over the peppermint as it's a bit milder, but that's just a personal preference. Regardless, I think these mints do exactly what they're supposed to do and with a nice flavor to boot.
